Important Information for Parents
Park View Education Centre offers a daily free breakfast program available to all students. This program is completely funded through grants and donations. Groups or individuals wishing to assist with serving breakfast or providing financial donations may contact the main office. Donations are gratefully accepted.
There will be a Grade 12 Parent Information Session held at Park View on Tuesday Sept. 25th at 7 pm. All interested parents and students are encouraged to attend.
Volunteer drivers for extra-curricular trips must complete a driver’s form (J-form available in the main office) and provide copies of their insurance and Vehicle Inspection. Also, drivers must complete both a Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry documentation. These forms are also available at the school.:
Please do not stop in the Student Drop Off Zone (Yellow Curb) in front of PVEC between 3:10 and 3:40 pm:
Our school buses must pass through the driveway in order to line up for bus dismissal at 3:30 pm. Drivers who are picking up students at 3:30 pm may park along the curb in front of the Handicap Parking space, past the no-parking zone on the right hand side of the EXIT Driveway, or across the road on King Street. This will be monitored by the Bridgewater Police Department, and violators will be ticketed. Thank you for your cooperation!
Panther Way – Student parking is provided along the street leading to the school field. Students are free to park in any available space. Please note the school is not responsible for the safety of your vehicle. However, if you encounter damage or vandalism, please report it to the school administration as well as the School safety Resource Officer, Const. Jennifer Mason of the Bridgewater Town Police.
We will soon be mailing home information regarding the access and use of the on-line Parent Portal. This site allows users to check student marks and attendance. To ensure that this information is being sent to the correct location, we have provided copies of our current demographic information to all students to take home. These forms also contain other relevant information the school requires for a variety of reasons. Please ensure that any corrections are made and that these forms are returned to the school.
