Two classrooms at our school have presented moisture problems due to high humidity in the wing on the north side of the building. Our custodial staff, along with Occupational Health and Safety, Operations staff and a third party agency have all been working to address the problem and return the classrooms for student and staff use.
There has been thorough examination and cleaning of the space, and we are now in the process of addressing the original cause with additional ventilation. After a deep clean of the rooms, including furniture and fixtures, dehumidifiers and fans will work to handle the humidity and moisture on a go forward basis. These additional ventilation measures will continue after school hours to prevent problems from arising without interrupting student learning.
There was also a large patch of gardens along the outside wall of that side of the building which has been removed to allow for sunlight and airflow which will help reduce the moisture and humidity. Even after 24 hours these changes have proven to be effective.
Currently we anticipate classes to resume as usual in those rooms on Monday. If you have any questions or concerns please call the school at 541-8200.

However, if you encounter damage or vandalism, please report it to the school administration as well as the School safety Resource Officer, Const. Jennifer Mason of the Bridgewater Town Police.
We will soon be mailing home information regarding the access and use of the on-line Parent Portal. This site allows users to check student marks and attendance. To ensure that this information is being sent to the correct location, we have provided copies of our current demographic information to all students to take home. These forms also contain other relevant information the school requires for a variety of reasons. Please ensure that any corrections are made and that these forms are returned to the school.
